You can find the first part of this uninspired rant here. I believe every person on this planet has the right to speak their mind. They should be able to do so without fear of being beaten up, jailed, or disemboweled on some dusty street. However, words do have consequences. I have no problem with those in the public eye having their fate sealed by the free market. On the other hand, I wish the professionally offended and couch potato protesters would lighten the fuck up. With that preamble out of the way, here is some more……………………
Trump wasn’t my first choice for President. That honor went to Rand Paul. Before I go any further, let’s get it out of the way that if more politicians considered it an “honor” that you voted for them, maybe they wouldn’t forget about the citizens the minute they set foot in the Washington “swamp”. Those hand jobs from the Deep State hookers must be nice. So many politicians seem to forget what they campaigned on. I hope Trump doesn’t.
I digress.
I still think Senator Rand Paul will make a great President one day. I love the libertarian streak that is emblazoned in his DNA, passed down from his old man. During the rough and tumble primaries, however, he sometimes displayed the charisma of an autopsy. This is a tough thing to overcome, when the cable news has cameras on you when you are taking a leak in the bathroom of a bus station or wiping sauce off your chin in a diner on some frozen highway in a county God turned His back on. Consequently, Senator Paul was mowed down by the Trump Train.
It soon became evident to me, that Trump was the only one that could beat Mrs. Clinton. He understood the media better than most, whether people wanted to give him credit for it or not. Trump also would not back down when the leftist media onslaught, so hungry to become enlightened like Europe and elect a women to lead the land, brought out their big guns. The fact that Trump was a New York City Democrat for years was the final nail in the ass of Hillary’s pantsuit. The very thing that his Republican opponents taunted him for, was what would help him flip Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin. Trump is more liberal on the social issues than most Republicans. I wonder if that is because he lived most of his life in and around NYC? As a New Yorker myself, and one who has spent a great deal of working and leisure time in The Big Apple, I am softer on some of the social issues than your average conservative. Yes, I am for same sex marriage. You do have to use the bathroom that fits your plumbing, however. I don’t deny biology. There are no opinions in chromosomes.
No matter what the left says, it is mostly them that deny science. I am looking at you Bill Nye.
Trump’s victory proved a few things. It proved that, no matter how much the media protected her and put her on a celestial pedestal, Hillary Clinton was an awful candidate. The election showed that a good portion of the citizenry still wanted to be America. Yeah, the Royal Family is cute, but we spilled blood to separate ourselves from their way of government and the Globalists are not going to force it back on us without a fight. Finally, we witnessed the fact that the only thing the experts do with any great proficiency is get shit wrong.
It was so funny listening to the left discard anecdotal evidence of Trump’s support. They didn’t care that in entire counties in Pennsylvania and Ohio, Trump signs outnumbered Hillary’s 150 to 1. The left had their scientific polls that showed a Hillary cakewalk to the Presidency. She had started her champagne party early. The tens of thousands of people that went to Trump rallies were just looking to see the spectacle and that stupid hair flapping in the wind. They were rednecks, too stupid and lazy to vote. The hundreds that went to Hillary events, half of them paid to be there, were sure to vote and give her the 350 Electoral Votes the experts were predicting.
The experts.
It shouldn’t have taken an expert to see that when Obama was campaigning for Hillary in a state he had won four years earlier the day before the Election, that the old battleaxe was in trouble. I realize I am not as educated as the geniuses at MSNBC, CNN and the New York Times, but what election were these people watching? Were they reading from some script Shonda Rhimes was typing, where Hillary was elected President and all straight white males had to make their penance by identifying as a Cis Male or whatever term fit the SJWs agenda? Did Rachel Maddow and Jake Tapper think that the Electorate had the same composition as the studio audience for Saturday Night Live? The liberal echo chamber was more like a gas chamber for the left in the early morning hours of November 9, 2016
I would be lying if I told you I didn’t enjoy watching the liberal meltdown.
The avalanche came quickly from the crybabies. Judging from the hysterics of some of the Hillary supporters, you would have thought Kellyanne Conway was tossing newborn babies into blenders so she could make Margaritas at the Trump Victory Party. Anti-Trump protests popped up everywhere, quicker than a cold sore on your lip after you visit with a dirty old prostitute that works the dive bars along the docks.
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”
I am all for people being allowed to protest. You don’t like Trump? Use your God-given right to express yourself, peacefully. Don’t believe in God? That’s ok. Just remember that your inalienable rights were not given to you by humans in Government. We owe them taxes and to obey the laws that we elected them to pass. We the People don’t owe them thanks for our Freedoms. Despite all of their meddling, the American people still have managed to maintain many of our Freedoms over government.
No matter how hard the left, and some on the right, try to take them away.
